Each year Often Running puts together an awesome program called the Fun Run for kids of all ages. Every Friday night for about 8 weeks, we head over to IWU's track to run. The kids are put into their age brackets and get to "race" around the track one time, and when the cross the finish line, they get a ribbon. Honestly, my kids LOVE the run. It's the highlight of their week, and even though we have to rush home from work to be there by 6, drive around and around looking for a parking spot, stress out about keeping an eye on our kids since they all wear the same shirts, we do it all with a smile on our faces.... WHY, you ask, because that's what parents do! :)
Since Addy is only 2, Art or I run with her. She loves wearing her racing number.
