4 Under 4

Being parents of 2 under 2 was quite an adventure. Art and I were much more at ease bringing Addison home compared to when we brought Ben home. The 1st few days of being home with 2 children was an adjustment, it got easier. Then it got harder and easier again and then harder again. This pattern seems to repeat it's self every few months, keeping us on our toes. I love having my babies so close in age and one day soon hope to welcome another child into our lives, but for now we are a happy family of four.
A few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to have Reese and Cater spend the night. Reese is such a good baby and Carter plays so well with Ben and Addy that it was very easy. I think Art and I passed the test allowing us to have more children! :)

Ace Ventura who?

The boys lovin on baby Reese

Addison thinks I'm pretty funny, Reese is afraid of my camera, at least I hope it's the camera and not me.

Comcast Cares Day

Each year Comcast gives back to the community by picking a non for profit charity, and volunteering for a day. This year I was appointed project leader, which was a lot of work and though I probably won't do it again next year, the day turned out really well.
This year we choose to donate some of our time and sweat to the David Davis Mansion. This is the home that Judge Davis and his wife Sarah lived in. Judge Davis was on the circuit with Abraham Lincoln and was a huge influence in convincing Lincoln to run for President. The mansion is huge and we were in charge of cleaning up the yard after the long winter. The day was off to a bad start with thunder and rain but by 9:15 the clouds went by and the sun came out. I brought Ben and Carter along to help which was a great idea. They had a blast!

I'm not sure what they were celebrating, but it's must have been something good.

The mansion cost less then $100,000 to build, today it would cost a few million. It's amazing inside.

Carter found someone to give him a lift around the huge yard.

Here's the stables where the horses were kept. Ben was disappointed they were no longer there.

Ben raking the gravel

Ben hated wearing the Comcast shirts. He insisted on wearing his own T-shirt, but I was able to bribe him for a quick picture.

I was so proud of these little guys! It was hard work and they helped out so much! Thank you boys!

What to Wear, What to Wear

What, it's time to get up already....
What the heck am I going to wear

Maybe some tights?
Maybe some socks? Mom tells me never leave home without them!

I think I'll just go with a pink onesie, it makes my thighs look slim.
