Finally, SNOW.
Ben and Addison have been awaiting snow since the temperature got into the 50's. I guess when your a child, snow and Christmas are really the only exciting things in the winter! We were lucky enough to have Grandma at our house for the 1st snow fall, so she took the kids out to build a snow man.

We didn't have enough to make a big snowman, so we made a "mini me".

I think our sled got thrown away in the move, so a card board box will have to do.

A Time to be Thankful!

Thanksgiving it s a time to give Thanks and we have so much to be Thankful for. Family, Health, Friends, the list goes on and on. We enjoyed the day eating, drinking and just spending time with the people we love. I only got a few pictures of the day, but we have the memories in our hearts.

Fashionesta Addison

My Love

We spent the day after Thanksgiving with Grandma Rose and Grandpa Gary. It was a beautiful day out and the kids had a blast going for rides on the four wheeler.

Getting ready to take off. Addy acted as if she was going to love the ride, but once they took of she screamed! Maybe next year.

My favorite picture of Addy and Daddy!

The House that John Built

With a little bit of blood, a lot of sweat and a few tears...#1 Indigo Run is finally our Home! The past 30 days have been crazy on us. We said good bye to 9 Cedar Court, moved into 1 Indigo Run and have tried to keep somewhat of a routine for the kids. It's been stressful to say the least, but we've survived and are healthy, happy and warm & cozy in our new home!
It's seems like all I have done is post house pictures over the past few months, but these are the final ones!

Addison's Grace's new room. She had a hard time sleeping
the 1st week, but she is doing much better now. She has both curtains up and
and some toys in there, so I think she's feeling more at home now.

Here's Ben's room, a lot cleaner that it normally is. He loves his new room. He has a hard time going to bed each night, but I keep hoping it'll get easier on him.

Our bathtub. The kids love it! Art didn't realize how crazy the bubble would be once he turned the jets on!

The Den- This is one of the most peaceful rooms in the house. We are still working on getting some new blinds, so right now, this nice patchwork quilt is doing the trick!

My favorite piece in the house, our beautiful staircase.

Our bedroom. It's so nice to have a room back to ourselves, except Chaise thinks she owns the place. I think she feels that since we moved her and took her away from her friends on Cedar Court, we now owe her something. She sleeps on all of our furniture, and when I try to push her off, she growls at me! I swear, I don't know where her and Addy get their attitudes from!!

The kitchen, which I love to cook in.

Kids Bathroom, in Blueberry Muffin.

Hope you enjoyed the ride! Unless back luck comes our way, we will be here the next 30years!!

Almost Done

It's that time...Crunch time that is. We close on Cedar Ct on Nov 20th, so we need to have the new house completed and move, all in the next 14 days! Can you feel my stress??
It's coming along and I think we might have a chance of pulling it off, but it's going to be close!
Here are a few pictures from tonight. Most of the major construction is done, so I'm able to take the kids over there with out worrying too much about them getting hurt.

The Master Bath. It's not quite finished but is looking great.

I don't think she really knows what that seat is for, but she thought she was pretty cool for climbing up on it.

Not the greatest picture of the fire place, but it looks really nice up close.

Ben's cool room

Addison's room. The stripes were finished today and they look awesome! Very subtle, but just want I wanted.

Kids bath. The color is Blueberry Muffin...Ben picked it out and it looks pretty good. It's a little more purple then it looks in the picture.

Master Bedroom

Ahhh- The kitchen! I'm so happy with it!

John was trying to get Addy to be nice to him. Ha

The rail has been a huge PITA, but I think it's one of my favorite parts of the house. Great Job John!

The Den- or Man Cave. The color got changed from a beautiful sage green that I picked out, to a grey/green that looked more "manly"

The Kitchen looking into the living room.

Let hope my next post about the house will come in the next 2 week and we will be all moved in. sigh

Halloween

I LOVE Halloween. I know there are a lot of people that could take it or leave it, but I think it's one of the better "holidays". It's so much fun to pretend your something else for the day. Imagination is a great thing, and I can't wait to find out what my kids will want to dress up as in the future.
This year Grandma and Grandpa took them trick or treating while Art & I went to a football game. Grandma and Grandpa tried to get some pictures, but taking care of 4 kids 4 and under isn't always easy!! So we had to have a photo shoot on Sunday! Ben and Addy are by far the cutest kids on earth, and they looked even more adorable in their costumes!

Look at that precious face...it melts my heart.

And my scary little Hulk. Ben loved his muscle costume

Addy is really into playing with dolls lately. She didn't want to put this one down.

The cutest little piggy around

As always, we try for a group picture.....
